AIR, LAND OR SEA?

We continue learning about transports. There are so many ways to get around these days, whether by air, water, or land. Can your child give each vehicle the correct classification? Watch this video and then try to classify the transports into LAND, AIR or SEA.

Draw a BLUE line to match the sea transports, a RED line to match the land transports and a YELLOW line to match the air transports.

OPPOSITES

Today we're going to review some opposites. Most of this words are adjectives, kids need to know them to enrich their speech.

Listen to this song and then download the worksheet and match the opposites.

ACTIVITY

Look at the pictures. Match  the opposites. If you need it, listen again to the song.

HOMOPHONES: UE, EW, U_E

In English, LONG U sound has two sounds: the first one sounds as LETTER U, and the second one sounds like double OO. Those sounds also have their own homophones. Watch these videos to find out more.

Then make a chart where you have to write down this two sounds and their homophones. Like this one.

THE WHEELS ON THE BUS

The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round.
The wheels on the bus go round and round, all through the town!

The wipers on the bus go swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish.
The wipers on the bus go swish, swish, swish, all through the town!

The people on the bus go chat, chat, chat, chat, chat, chat, chat, chat, chat.
The people on the bus go chat, chat, chat, all through the town!

The horn on the bus goes beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep.
The horn on the bus goes beep, beep, beep, all through the town!

The babies on the bus go waa, waa, waa, waa, waa, waa, waa, waa, waa.

The babies on the bus go waa, waa, waa, all through the town!

Actividades

1. Pizarra digital

Para descargarlos haz click aquí: Book of colours

5. Interpretamos la canción
A través del siguiente enlace aprende como interpretar la canción The wheels on the bus, es muy fácil y a los niños y niñas les encanta.
